WHY UNIVERSITY?

                        WHY   UNIVERSITY?

"Time to go to University" means you have passed your childhood completely. You have reached the age where you are overburdened with responsibilities towards your job, family and friends. Going to university might create additional stresses in your life. Moreover, in the time it takes to go to university, you could be working and earning money. Right? As much as it is alluring to not go to university, there are many significant motives of going to university.

First and the most obvious advantage concerns good income and job opportunities. Studying four or five years in a university will enhance opportunities for career development. And also, in the jobs you will hold in the future, your knowledge that you gained in university will help you solve problems. An educated person is more likely to resolve difficulties and conflicts in a rational manner.

Second, educated people are filled with more positive . They are more likely to lead a meaningful life, feel better about themselves, and be less vulnerable to stress-related diseases. And with more knowledge, mind is being exercised which keeps our mind active.

Third crucial reason to go to university is, it expands your social horizon. You can meet new people, make new friends, share new experience, and get new and interesting ideas in many things.

University gives us "life-changing  education". An example can be taken from the movie "Homeless to Harvard ". A true story of Elizabeth "Liz" Murray ,  who became homeless just after she turned fifteen. But, her interest in education got her scholarship through which she got into Harvard University. Today she is known as the founder and director of manifest living and a motivational speaker.

The love for studying and the motivation to be someone in life made Liz Murray go to a good university on her own. As a kid, all of us wanted to be someone great but as we grow older, we leave our dreams behind because we get attracted to secondary activities. If ones a homeless girl like Liz Murray could be someone she is now, then why could not we all be someone too? As Michelle Obama said," There is no magic to achievement. It's really about choices, hard work and persistence." True, there is no magic but a choice, a way. And first step to that way is UNIVERSITY.
